The Lido Palace on Lake Garda opened in 1899 as a resort for European royalty, and we have tried to recreate its timeless elegance. The hotel is housed in a renovated 19th-century building where top quality design has been used to create a stunning, luxurious environment.
Its redesign combines immersion in nature, welcoming common areas and intimacy in the rooms through the use of light and views of the surrounding landscape. A new glass hall between the park and gardens and the main neoclassical building, a glass walkway above the gardens – these features bring the natural beauty of our surroundings right into the hotel. The restaurants and outdoor bar even appear to float above the lake. On the neoclassical building, a new top floor of glass and steel houses the suites, which seem to be suspended in the lakeside landscape.
